ABOUT US
MALTech, which was founded by a group of graduate students of mixed nationalities has been a front runner in innovative enterpreneurship and has been the focus of mass media in Japan. MALTech was featured on first page of a national newspaper, by national magazine for entrepreneurs, and on various articles by west Japan newspapers as well as numerous programs by local dan nationwide TV stations. Due to this unique mixture of persistence, advanced IT skills and foreign/Japanese elements in business, MALTech has been designated as the only company that benefits from the “Iizuka Asia IT Special Zone” enacted by the Government of Japan in 2003. MALTech has also participated with the Cabinet Office of the Goverment of Japan in evaluating the effects of Special Zone system. The latest recognition by Japanese government to MALTech (represented by its representative director) was given in December 2007 as “Researcher of the Year 2007” by Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (Monbukagakusho) through its “National Institute of Science and Technology Policy”.
