At MALTech, we have always focused on making communication tools easy enough and usable for all parts of the society. MALTech started in 1999 with an internet voice mail system, which allows anyone with a plain, old telephone to send message to email users. The system allows Fax to be received by emails, and voice messages to be exchanged between telephone users, as well as PC users. PDA users could even use our client software to retrieve and send voice messages.
In 2002 we added IP telephony into it, and the same message could be retrieved via IP telephone. So anyone with PC, PDA, regular phone (and fax), cellular phone as well as IP phone can now communicate with each other. As people move more toward IP telephony (VoIP), we started to concentrate on IP video telephony, as a potentially very easy and natural way to communicate in this age of digital information.
Nevertheless our passion has not changed, i.e., we strive to link people in the easiest, most usable and most natural way. We think that the Internet is the treasure that everyone deserves, and it has great potential to really link everyone, no matter what physical type of device or how they use the device. So no matter who you are and from which part of the society you are from, MALTech strives to provide an easy and usable way of communication for you. Our ultimate goal is to remove the gap between the haves and the have nots, the “normal” and the “disabled” of communication and information technology, and provide everyone the same access to communication and information. And it all boils down to linking people. That’s our “raison d’être” as corporation.
