E-Gomi
E-Gomi is an application of our CTI/GIS skills and technology into a system for environmental-friendly garbage disposal. This system is deployed at Iizuka-city, a city with around 120,000 population. In this city, citizen needs to pay to dispose large garbage. Citizen makes appointment for the garbage to picked up. E-Gomi, which is operated by operators, receives this appointment request via phone, and automatically detects caller’s phone number, searches the name and address of the caller and then automatically displayes the map of caller’s residence. The system handles the whole process until an instruction sheet is printed out with all details of the garbage including maps is printed out, to be given to truck driver who will go and pick up the garbage.
